DISNEY JUNIOR HOLIDAY – A DVD Review by John Strange

One of the things I like about Disney Junior is the diversity of kid-friendly shows to watch.  This holiday offering from our friends at Disney Junior gives us a wonderful selection of form a few of the shows including Vampirina, Puppy Dog Pals, Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

The episodes have a common theme as they are all about holidays.  From the Blood Moon Festival (Vampirina) through Christmas (Mickey and the Roadster Racers and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) and Hanukkah (Puppy Dog Pals).  And the central theme of all of these episodes?  Families and friends overcoming whatever problems are in their way to allow them to celebrate together.

Mickey and his family and friends have been favorites of my family and friends for generations.  Now, we can add Vampirina and her ghoulish family and human friends as well as Bingo, Rolly and their companions to that list.

This disk runs a little over two hours and will engage your kids in holiday-related tales.  I think you will enjoy them, too.  So why not sit down and join them and enter the lives of these new friends and get into the holiday spirit!

The disk’s bonus extras are two short tales that fit very well into the theme of the overall offering giving us a tad bit of icing on this disk.

I enjoyed my afternoon in front of the TV watching this disk.  I can easily give it our “BRAND NEW” rating.  This one will join your stack of holiday DVDs to be watched for years to come.
