Programs are offered free through AISD schools and partner organizations annually serving over 1,500 students in the Austin community; furthermore AFF grants more than 300 students and teachers scholarships to the annual Austin Film Festival & Conference. YFP offers kids opportunities to share their creative work with peers, the public, and professional filmmakers and screenwriters. By introducing young people to the film industry, the program hopes to provide them new mediums to express their creativity, improve their communication skills, and benefit the entire arts community. Programs include Digital Storytelling, Arts Education Outreach, and AFF Summer Film Camp.
