Eytan and I started our chat by first discussing his time at NYU'S Tisch School of Arts.

We discussed Israeli filmmaking back home and about Israelis in the American filmmaking world.

Eytan and I talked about the inspirations behind The Abandoned.

I was blown away by the cinematography of the film and in particular the lighting choices.

Eytan and I talked about the tough choices he had in the filmmaking process.

We talked about the POV choices made in the film and about the editing process behind the film.

Eytan was awesome enough to talk about what film projects he has up next.   In particular, we discussed the Meyer Lansky film he's making based on Eytan's father's famous interview with the iconic gangster.
