Austin Film Festival – Short Film Spotlight

I've always loved watching short films at festivals.  The short sections at festivals are always my first go to spot for new talent and Austin Film Festival 2016 didn't disappoint.  Today we'll look at two short filmmakers.  Click through for our interviews with THAT DAY's Stephanie Mishelle Ard & PAST THE SECOND STAGE's Samuel Hunter Galloway.

Writer/Actor/Director/Comedian Samuel Hunter Galloway sat down with me to chat about his short films, New Zealand, London and weird Austin.

Actress/Writer/Director Stephanie Mishelle Day's honest and moving short film, THAT DAY, truly moved me.  Stephanie talked about making the leap to make this film, her serendipitous casting and about the joys of Austin, Tx.

Stay tuned over the next few weeks for more Austin Film Festival 2016 videos.  You can check out our YouTube page to catch the most recent uploads!
