CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM: THE COMPLETE ELEVENTH SEASON – A DVD Review by John Strange

Curb Your Enthusiasm follows Larry David in a version of his life. The humor and story are improvised with a base joke/plot that runs the entire season. This season has Larry and Jeff Greene (Jeff Garlin) his manager selling a new fictionalized show about Larry’s early life to Netflix.
This is a show where one joke is followed by another and is not to everyone’s taste. What some people are watching for are the a-list guest stars like Albert Brooks, Jon Hamm, Woody Harrelson, Lucy Liu, and Seth Rogen.
I have to admit that I am one of those who love this type of humor, but I did enjoy watching some of the guests. For fans, Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Eleventh Season, this is a 5-star season. For the rest of us, this is a 3-star viewing.
There are no bonus extras for this DVD release. That is disappointing to me. The fact that they didn’t even offer a Blu-raytm version of the season is very sad as well.
