Interview with Kerstin Anderson – Maria Rainer in The Sound of Music:
Kerstin and I started our chat off by discussing the wonderful moment of hearing she had gotten the part.
I asked Kerstin about what working with Director Jack O'Brien is like.
The film version of the Tony Award Winning sensation has it's 50th Anniversary. I asked Kerstin what the impact of that fun fact has on the cast and crew.
Kerstin had to put on hold her time at PACE University to tackle this tour experience. Kerstin expressed her deep love of her University.
I asked whether she is going back to school following the tour.
We got to have a little fun by talking about Kerstin's favorite TV shows and films.
And finally I asked Kerstin about a unique element of her home state.
Vermont is one of the few states in the country with only one telephone area code. This unique distinction has made the 802 into a state motto. Of course I had to ask Kerstin about her 802 pride.
The Sound of Music rolls over the hills into our lives tomorrow night and last through November 22nd. For more information about this incredible revisit of the classic please go, here.
