Our Gadi Elkon had the privilege of interviewing Director Alberto Belli for a second time about his film THE NAUGHTY NINE. Along with Alberto the composer of the film, Kenny Wood, joined in on the interview. Here is our Interview with Disney’s THE NAUGHTY NINE Director Alberto Belli and Composer Kenny Wood.
Fifth grader Andy has been a bit of a troublemaker this year. When Christmas morning rolls around and Andy gets stiffed by Santa, he realizes he’s on the Naughty List. Feeling unfairly maligned, Andy pulls together a crack team of fellow naughty listers to pull off an elaborate heist in the North Pole to get the presents that Andy and the others feel they deserve. In the process of finding their gifts, the gang discovers that the spirit of Christmas is more about giving than taking, and decide to face Santa and do the right thing.
Alberto and Kenny have worked on feature films and short films since 2011 and they talked with our Gadi Elkon about THE NAUGHTY NINE. In their chat Alberto and Kenny talked about the importance of the set of the North Pole, crafting the music to connect with characters and pace of the film, and even settled the debate on Lethal Weapon or Die Hard as the best Xmas action film!
