GOD SAVE TEXAS – Interview with Filmmaker Alex Stapleton

GOD SAVE TEXAS is an HBO Original Documentary trilogy, inspired by Lawrence Wright’s book, that premieres this Tuesday February 27th.  Episode 2’s Filmmaker Alex Stapleton joined our Gadi Elkon to chat about ‘The Price of Oil’.

Returning to their hometowns, Texas filmmakers Richard Linklater, Alex Stapleton, and Iliana Sosa chronicle the complex history of each city, while examining the toll that the prison system, oil business, and border laws have on those communities.

Alex and Gadi talked about her filmmaking team, going home to Houston, and what is the price of oil.
