Artist and Activist Juan Escobedo chatted with me about his community and much more!

Artist Juan Escobedo’s latest exhibition, “El Sombrero de Miguel Lopez“, was just showcased at Los Angeles County Department of Art & Culture’s Collective Memory Installation as part of the Illuminate LA initiative.  The work by Juan is a tribute to his late grandfather and in particular the sombrero wearing style that has crept into Juan’s own life.  In our chat Juan and I talk about his grandparents, his own love of hats and so much more!
