The second feature film from Writer/Director Mary Bronstein, IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU, world premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Production Designer Carmen Navis had an in-depth conversation with our Gadi Elkon about Mary’s latest film, Carmen’s extensive background and so much more!
With her life crashing down around her, Linda attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist.
IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU premiered at Sundance last Friday and the feature film continues through the closing weekend. Production Designer Carmen Navis spoke with me about how Mary’s film first came to Navis. Carmen also was able to break down her work process, highlight the community of talent she works with and also dived deeply into some of her more impactful career moments. Carmen was also kind enough to discuss the California fires and how we will recover from its devastation.
