The Greater Denton Arts Council and actor Jason Lee (My Name is Earl) have teamed up to present the Summer Cinema Series every Tuesday night through mid-June. The screenings include an eclectic selection including classics like Harold and Maude, The Outsiders and The Sting.
Lee has been very involved with the community since the opening of his restaurant Barley & Board, which he is co-owner of with John Pearson and Eric Pulido. Lee also wanted to share his love for film by showing some of his favorites. Last week the kick off was the Coen brothers classic Raising Arizona. Tonight is a Belgian film The Broken Circle Breakdown selected by Ceren Lee. The screenings are free of charge. Sodas and snacks are available for purchase or BYOB.
