LABOCINE is the home of the Science New Wave where scientific pursuit is free to co-exist and blend freely across disciplines and cultures. That’s our origin story. The embryonic idea came into being one hot desert afternoon. It soon split away from its parental cell (Imagine Science Films) taking on an autonomous existence and reflecting all the excitement, diversity, and fresh ideas of a new and growing organism.
Alexis and Gadi talked about how the Imagine Science Film Festival turned from a college festival to the idea behind LABOCINE. Alexis discussed how and why science and film can be meddled together.
