It’s July and that can only mean two things: hot Texas weather and the Asian Film Festival of Dallas. For years I have called AFFD one of the best less traveled gems in the Texas film festival world. For the past few years Selig Film News has covered the Asian Film Festival of Dallas. It has always had a killer line-up and this year is no different. The festival is entering its 15th year with a great (killer!) line-up and parties at the House of Blues’ Foundation Room. This year’s festival program was premiered at the festival’s VIP Party last Thursday night. As always it is a collector’s item with full color pictures and nice write-ups of each film. The festival program is an item that I always hang onto and you should make it a part of your film festival collection, too. Below are my picks for this year’s Asian Film Festival of Dallas.
