OXFORD FILM FESTIVAL 2023 – IN THE BONES – Interview with Filmmaker Kelly Duane de la Vega

Today is the opening day of the OXFORD FILM FESTIVAL 2023.  One of the wonderful films at the festival is the feature documentary, IN THE BONES.  Award-winning filmmaker Kelly Duane de la Vega talked with our Gadi Elkon about the documentary, the team in front of and behind camera, it being apart of OXFF 23′, and so much more!

A searing look at the culture that overturned Roe v. Wade, IN THE BONES is a cinematic journey through Mississippi that provides a poetic — and sometimes painful — portrait of American culture through the ordinary lives of women and children.

Filmmaker Kelly Duane de la Vega talked with our Gadi Elkon about the team she’s apart of with at Three Frame Films.  They discussed why Mississippi, why the ladies and girls shown in the doc, and so much more.

Interview with Award-winning Filmmaker Kelly Duane de la Vega:

In The Bones is playing Saturday March 4th at 2:30pm at the Malco Theater.
