SXSW 2024 begins this Thursday March 7th and runs through March 16th. Our Gadi Elkon talked with multiple filmmakers having their world premieres at the Austin based festival. Here is our Interview with Filmmaker Katie Mathews about her feature film directorial debut ROLEPLAY.
ROLEPLAY is a feature documentary that follows a group of college students as they confront sexual violence on their campus through a transformative theater process. This urgent coming of age story follows young adults grappling with sex, consent, identity, and power on their paths to adulthood.
Filmmaker Katie Mathews talked with Gadi about her ties to Louisiana and Tulane University. Katie also expanded on the filming process for ROLEPLAY, the theater group GOAT IN THE ROAD, and so much more!
