Oscar-Nominated Cinematographer and Director Lajos Koltai spoke with our Gadi Elkon about Lajos’s latest feature film, SEMMELWEIS.
In 1847 a mysterious epidemic is raging in a maternity clinic in Vienna, while the doctor Ignác Semmelweis tries to defeat puerperal fever by going against all traditional theories.
Lajos and Gadi talked about the art direction, the tremendous cast and so much more about the film. Lajos gave us insight into his love of cinematography and about the honor of SEMMELWEIS being Hungary’s official submission for the upcoming 97th Academy Awards.
