SLAMDANCE 23′ – SILENT LOVE – Interview with Filmmaker Marek Kozakiewicz

This Friday kicks off the SLAMDANCE FILM FESTIVAL.  We will be posting interviews all of this week leading up to the fest.  Filmmaker Marek Kozakiewicz feature film, SILENT LOVE, is apart of the documentary feature category.  Marek talked with our Gadi Elkon about the film, his goals in the doc world and so much more!

After their mother’s death, 35-year-old Aga has to take care of her teenage brother, Milosz. There is one thing she isn’t telling him about: her ongoing relationship with Maja. An unconventional family is being born in a small, conservative Polish village.

Marek and Gadi talked about getting to know this unique family, how close he got with them, the years in the making for this project and much more!

The film premieres at Slamdance 23′ on Saturday January 21st at 3pm and it’s encore screening is on Wednesday the 25th at 11:15.  Silent Love is preceded, for both screenings, by 7-minute short film FLESHWORK by Lydia Cornett.
