Our Gadi Elkon talked with the Writer/Director/Cinematographer Niav Conty about her feature film debut, SMALL TIME.
It can be brutal enough just growing up a girl. Then add poverty, addiction, and God to the mix. Armed with a gun and a prayer, Emma (Audrey Grace Marshall) and her cat bravely go where too many girls have gone before. Set in rural America in the shadow of the opioid crisis and the “War on Terror”, SMALL TIME is fundamentally the story of what shapes us as people, and what shapes us as a nation.
