TAKE ME TO THE RIVER: NEW ORLEANS – Interview with Filmmaker Martin Shore

Filmmaker Martin Shore talked with our Gadi Elkon about the latest continuation of the TAKE ME TO THE RIVER saga.  Martin and his team have now dived deep into the bayou to highlight New Orleans.

The second in the franchise of the award-winning TAKE ME TO THE RIVER. “Take Me to the River New Orleans” celebrates the rich musical history, the heritage, legacy, and influence of New Orleans and Louisiana. A true collaboration and melting pot of influences from around the World, that came together and formed one of the world’s most unique cultural jewels. Our adventure shows the resiliency of surviving disaster to a formidable rebirth while pairing legacy musicians with stars of today, and how this unique cultural jewel came to exist.

This past week TAKE ME TO THE RIVER NEW ORLEANS opened at The Broad Theater in NOLA.  The film is mere days away from opening in NYC (Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Manhattan) and LA (Alamo Drafthouse and Laemmle Santa Monica).  It’ll be released to the world in the coming weeks.

Gadi and Martin talked about bringing together such a group of musical talent, the musical hubs in our country, and of course all the greatness of The Big Easy.
