TALLGRASS FILM FESTIVAL – Interview with TOKYO COWBOY Director Marc Marriott and Producer Brigham Taylor

TALLGRASS FILM FESTIVAL turns 21 on Thursday October 5th and the party lasts till Sunday the 8th.  Feature film TOKYO COWBOY is having its world premiere at the festival and Director/Producer Marc Marriott and Producer Brigham Taylor talked with our Gadi Elkon about the film, the festival and all the fun!

Brash businessman Hideki arrives in Montana having convinced his Tokyo bosses he can turn a profitless US cattle ranch into a premiere-performing asset. Yet when his Hardee’s-burger-loving Japanese Wagyu-beef expert fails him, Hideki is poised to misfire magnificently unless he identifies a missing element that’s key to the transformation… himself.

Director Marc Marriott and Producer Brigham Taylor talked about finding the perfect writing team in Dave Boyle and Actress Ayako Fujitani and how they help conceptulize this fish-out-of-water story.  Brigham and Marc discussed the uniqueness of filming in Tokyo and Montana and all the interesting people met along the way.  The guys talked about their excitement in having the World Premiere at Tallgrass.
