The Texas Theatre and USA Film Festival Honor Writer/Director Whit Stillman in Dallas on March 25

The Texas Theatre and the USA Film Festival will host writer/director Whit Stillman in conjunction with a double feature of Love & Friendship and The Last Days of Disco on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Texas Theatre, 231 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Dallas. The evening will include screenings of both films plus an on-stage conversation with Whit Stillman and book signing of his latest novel “Love & Friendship: In Which Jane Austen’s Lady Susan Vernon is Entirely Vindicated.”

  • 7:00pm Screening of Love & Friendship
  • 8:30pm Conversation and book-signing with Whit Stillman
  • 9:15pm Screening of The Last Days of Disco (35mm print)
  • 11:00pm Disco Party with DJ Mama Dew following the shows

 

A limited number of copies of “Love & Friendship: In Which Jane Austen’s Lady Susan Vernon is Entirely Vindicated” will be available at the program. Whit Stillman will autograph copies.
