UBUNTU – Interview with Director Adam Pertofsky

UBUNTU will have its world premiere at the upcoming Dances With Films Festival.  Director Adam Pertofsky talked with out Gadi Elkon about the film, the “Mamas” in the movie and so much more.

UBUNTU shines a light on the Mamas of Cape Town, a group of heroic women who have never been acknowledged, and whose tenacity allowed them to survive and even triumph over the cruel hand they were dealt. Together, against the odds and all through Apartheid, they transformed their communities and became the backbone upon which South Africa was built.

Adam Pertofsky and Gadi talked about Adam’s long history as an editor, how he got connected to the “Mamas” story, the tremendous work of those incredible ladies, and so much more.
