A blended Ukrainian family spends the last day of their vacation in Tenerife, Spain. When Russia’s invasion of Ukraine strands them on the island, they must contend with isolation, duty, fear… and each other.
Avant garde filmmaker Damian Kocur talked with Gadi about how his reality bleeds into his films. Damian discussed how Tenerife’s location impacted filming and how he came across his cast. Damian also was able to dive into the why it is intriguing that his film was chosen as Poland”s official submission for the 97th Academy Awards.
