2016 WTXFF Filmmaker to Watch Interview w/ Writer/Director LIZETTE BARRERA

UT Arlington and UT Austin educated filmmaker Lizette Barrera returned to DFW for the WTxFF and her innocent provocative short film made her an award winner.  Click through for the in depth interview with Writer/Director LIZETTE BARRERA about her short film MOSCA.

Talented young Writer/Director Lizette Barrera has expanded her horizons by venturing from Lewisville down to Austin.  The steadiness with the short film pacing shines brightly as this young voice is strong and present.  Our MOSCA in the film is an independent figure who's presence captivates and holds steady throughout.  Lizette shares those wonderful attributes and also has a bold mind that stretches how personal is personal in these films.  Not every story comes directly from Lizette and MOSCA falls into that category.  But luckily we did discuss the amazing power and pull of the story.  Enjoy my full chat with filmmaker Lizette Barrera.

2016 WTxFF Filmmaker To Watch is LIZETTE BARRERA!!.
