35th Israel Film Festival Named Best Print Advertising North America

The Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles has been selected by the World Trailer Awards as the winner of the North American Best Print Advertising Campaign for its poster artwork for the 35th festival edition in 2022.  The annual awards program honors the world’s best creative entertainment marketing representing excellence in film, television (broadcast and cable), streaming and games.  The design of IFF poster was created by Daniel Bishop and Paul Hoegh-Guldberg of InSync PLUS in conjunction with Meir Fenigstein, the founder/executive director of the Festival.

“There were many excellent print campaigns created across the board,” noted Fenigstein.  “Our campaign, created by Insync PLUS, helps us continue to celebrate the 36-year journey of our extraordinary film festival.  What began as a modest celebration of the emerging Israeli cinema to its current recognition as a global powerhouse, we have continued to bring the vision of the IFF to the world.”

The competition includes projects from Africa, Asia, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & North Africa, and North America from trailers and posters to sizzles and campaigns repping social media and out-of-home.  Each regional group winner advances to the final round of voting by a panel of senior executives from production, distribution, broadcast and streaming alongside creative directors and industry opinion leaders.  The global winners will be announced February 25 in a ceremony at the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura resort in Algarve, Portugal.

“The World Trailer Awards are all about shining the spotlight on entertainment marketers and creatives across the globe,” said World Trailer Awards global director Tim Cole. “We are delighted to have seen a full and diverse range of entries from independent and major players, across all territories this year, with some exceptional work being submitted.”

The 36th Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles will take November 8th – 19th, 2023.  www.israelfilmfestival.com
