It's a fitting close to the festival to see an aged Sherlock Holmes continue to find the truth as USAFF enters it's 45th looking to showcase some true treasures in filmmaking. The entire lineup is stacked with great talent and wonderful films. Here are my 3 things to catch at USA Film Festival.
But for the full lineup go – USA.Film.Festival.

Texas actress Margo Martindale will be given a special tribute showcase this Saturday Night at 7:30pm. Dallasities Stephen Tobolowsky and Peri Gilpin will MC and present for this wonderful weekend treat. Do not miss out on getting to meet one of the most dynamic, kind, and funny actresses around.
TALENT – ALL ABOUT THE TALENT
Tab's in town, Iris is in town, the Director of Dior and I is in town! USA Film Festival's 5 days are jam packed with talented filmmakers and talent coming to the Angelika Film Center from Wednesday to Sunday. Only a handful of films don't have talent at the festival, USA has always done a great job in bringing people to Dallas. This year's group is a wide range of unique and interesting people. The treat of the festival is getting to share stories with such fun folks. A special heads up to all those actors in DFW, the great Glenn Morshower who's been putting on a weekly class is going to be showcased. As well as Glenn's good friend Ernie Hudson will be in town. Overall the festival's open nature and with the free short film showcases there is no reason why you shouldn't be at the Angelika the rest of this week. And for all you fine folks DON'T MISS THE PARTIES! Trust me.
GREAT FILMS!!!
I got to see Wildlike at last year's Austin Film Festival and was blown away by the sheer beauty of the landscape and the amazing subtle performances. The film is a real star turn for it's young lead, Ella Purnell. It's also a great performance from Bruce Greenwood. Here is an in-depth interview I did with both those talented folks at AFF 2014.
There isn't a bad film at the festival so basically just show up.
USA Film Festival Wednesday April 22nd – Sunday April 26th.
