The 55th annual USA Film Festival starts today and runs until Sunday the 27th. Reporter, Journalist and Filmmaker Olive Talley returns to the festival with her latest feature documentary, THE STONES ARE SPEAKING. Our Gadi Elkon spoke with Olive about the film, USA Film Festival and so much more!
The Stones Are Speaking tells the inspiring story of how archaeologist Mike Collins, at great risk and personal sacrifice, saved 30 acres of looted land deep in the heart of Texas and revealed it as one of the most significant sites in the Americas. Collins and his team changed history when they found evidence of people living in Central Texas 20,000 years ago. The film is more than a simple tale of discoveries at the Gault Archaeological Site. It illustrates the power of an individual to make a difference and what people can accomplish when they come together for the greater good.
Olive and Gadi talked about the importance of Mike Collins’ work and his impact on our understanding of the history of the Americas. Olive also spoke about the team that helped craft this documentary.

Sunday April 27th at 4pm, the Angelika Film Center Dallas will a special screening of THE STONES ARE SPEAKING at the USA Film Festival.
Olive will take part in a Q&A after the film.
