Max Walker-Silverman’s intimate tale of long lost connection, A LOVE SONG, is a showcase for veteran actors Dale Dickey and Wes Studi. Wes chatted with our Gadi Elkon about his role as Lito, getting to work with Dale, breaking out the guitar, and even had time to talk a little about the hit show RESERVATION DOGS.
At a campground in the rural West, a woman waits alone for an old flame from her past to arrive, uncertain of his intentions while bashful about her own. Starring Dale Dickey and Academy Award®-winner Wes Studi, A Love Song marks the lyrical feature debut of writer-director Max Walker-Silverman.
Wes Studi has been a main-stay in the film world since his breakout as the “toughest pawnee” in Dances With Wolves. Wes and Gadi dived into A Love Song and why he was so game to tackle the role. They also discussed his time on the groundbreaking Reservation Dogs show and even championed an “old guy” spin-off!
