AFFD 2022 Interview with Guest Programmer Justina Walford

Tomorrow kicks off the 21st edition of the Asian Film Festival of Dallas.  The festival runs through Sunday the 24th and will highlight 16 feature films (12 narrative 4 documentaries), 11 short films, and a weekend of pure enjoyment.  This year the festival brought in guest programmers to populate the lineup.  Filmmaker and festival director Justina Walford is one of those guest programmers and she talked with out Gadi Elkon about AFFD 2022.

AFFD 2022 begins tomorrow July 21st and runs through Sunday the 24th.  Films will be screened at the Texas Theatre and their long-time venue Angelika Film Center of Dallas.  This year the festival invited two guest programmers to help bring diverse and dynamic films to Dallas.  Justina Walford is a filmmaker, festival director and programmer who has long ties to DFW.  Justina and our Gadi Elkon talked about AFFD 2022, women in film, and much more.
