Alamo Drafthouse DFW is pleased to announce that the fifth Alamo Drafthouse location in North Texas will be in the city of Denton. Located in the Rayzor Ranch development on the North side of Interstate 35, Alamo Drafthouse Denton is an 8 screen full service theater with approximately 925 luxury recliners and an attached full service bar and restaurant, Vetted Well, with 32 local beers on tap.

Alamo Drafthouse Denton's 8 theaters will showcase the very best new releases, iconic special events, and the company's unique take on repertory programming. Each theater will be equipped with top-of-the-line digital 4K projection and dynamic surround sound, and fully outfitted with luxury recliners that are equipped with footrest ensuring every seat in the house offers a viewing experience of unparalleled comfort. Alamo Drafthouse Denton will also feature a Large Format Theater showcasing the very best presentation available today, which includes Dolby's Atmos sound system.
Continuing the company's commitment to preserving 35mm, Alamo Drafthouse Denton will also feature 35mm changeover projection so that both classic films and new releases can be experienced in glorious celluloid. Alamo Drafthouse Denton will also present the company's signature programming, like Movie Party celebrations of classic favorites (ELF, PRINCESS BRIDE, GHOSTBUSTERS), deep dives into hardcore cinephilia via the Video Vortex, and family-friendly choices like Kids Camp, low-cost screenings that raise money for local nonprofits and schools.
The theater is expected to open in June 2018.
