The Alamo Drafthouse and Dogfish Head are pleased to announce special screenings of the epic concert film, THE GRATEFUL DEAD MOVIE, to celebrate the release of the Dogfish Head and Grateful Dead collaborative new brew "American Beauty" on October 22nd and 23rd.
"It's always awesome to work with our friends at Dogfish Head. But the chance to debut a new beer from them is better than Christmas," said Alamo Drafthouse Beverage Director Bill Norris.
THE GRATEFUL DEAD MOVIE captures performances from The Grateful Dead's five-night set at the Winterland Ballroom in 1974 along with the unique culture of the "Deadhead" scene. This Jerry Garcia-directed movie is unlike any other document of the Dead with its intertwined trippy animated sequences.
These upcoming screenings will be the first chance for the public to have their taste buds rocked by Dogfish Head's new creation. See full list of screening dates and ticketing links below.

At Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers, the 10/22 screening will also include a four-course meal paired specifically with Dogfish Head brews and will feature guest speakers Dogfish Head Founder, Sam Calagione, and Alamo Yonkers Executive Chef, Lupe Gutierrez.
