BATTLE IN SPACE: THE ARMADA ATTACKS – A Review by John Strange

BATTLE IN SPACE: THE ARMADA ATTACKS – A Review by John Strange

Battle in Space: The Armada Attacks is an independent “indie” film made up from several related shorts.  These shorts have sci-fi plots that all involve battles or fighting, some with big-budget-looking special effects.

These shorts all portray a vision of a possible dark future.  I hope they don’t turn out to be prophetic as every single one of them are as bleak as their dark sets suggest.

The acting is not always on par with their special-effects budgets.  Most of the scripts are interesting though a couple of the scripts could have used a bit of tweaking to make them more interesting.

These stories kept their scope small and that is not a bad thing.  They give us small windows upon the overall action that are supposedly occurring simultaneously.  It just wasn’t enough to make me go wow.  This is an interesting project that came close to being good.  Battle in Space: The Armada Attacks is a 3-star effort in my book.
