Producers and Actors Frank and Lauren Leon and Director Mitch Yapko talked with our Gadi Elkon about the TV Pilot for their series REMIXED.
Liz, pregnant and at an all-time low, is confused about her marriage and falling back into irresponsible habits. While packing, Liz and her best friend Aubrey discover a box left by Liz’s deceased brother Owen. They find an audio-guided bucket list he made for his friends to complete…but 15 years ago. The girls recruit their friend Isaac to complete the first challenges, which were created for 20-somethings, not tired adults with complicated lives. On this journey, they rediscover their love for each other, address unhealthy coping mechanisms, and honor the final wishes of their friend.
Frank, Lauren, Mitch and Gadi talked about the origins of the story, telling an uplifting story filled with loss, and about being at Dances With Films! The pilot has its world premiere today at DWF 2023 in the TV Block 2.
