Doc on the set of STRIPPED the Film

This month I have the honor of working with another great filmmaker, John Wildman.  John and his wife, Justina Walford, are the writing team behind this film described as “horror with a woman’s touch”.  The tagline is, STRIPPED is post-feminist horror, following the events surrounding a birthday outing with two brothers and a friend which turns into a horrific fight for survival after they become trapped in a house with a "family" of malevolent women.”

The cast includes the talents of some great locals such as Frank Mosley, Farah White, and Brina Palencia.  Gabriel Horn, Michelle Sinclair, Melodie Sisk, Samrat Chakrabarti, and RJ Hanson round out the amazing cast.  Wildman, Walford, White, and Adam Dietrich are the producers on the project with Debbi Berlin on board as co-executive producer and Ruth Mutch as executive producer.  The production team includes Beau Ethridge (DP) and special effects guru Marcus Koch.

To say that I am having fun taking stills on this set is an understatement.  I always enjoy working on film sets.  The talent and crew we have in this area are a joy to watch and photograph.  Sometimes, like with M. Legend Brown’s HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT, the storyline is dark but enlightening.  Other times like with Clay Liford’s WUSS they are deep but humorous.  With this horror film there is a lot of frightening aspects to record.  The thread that ties all of these films together, the behind-the-scenes action, humor and dedication having equal parts in the recipe for success.

The film’s interior shots are being filmed at the Agora Entertainment studios.  House exteriors will be filmed on location at the house John and Justina bought for the film.

A short teaser for STRIPPED was released today.  Look for my interview with John Wildman and Justina Walford to be posted soon!
