PEAS AND CARROTS – Interview with Filmmaker Evan Oppenheimer

The 3rd annual Dances With Films: NYC 2024 festival kicks off tonight with the world premiere of Filmmaker Evan Oppenheimer’s latest feature, PEAS AND CARROTS.  Our Gadi Elkon spoke with Evan about music, NYC, DWF, his cast and so much more!

Joey Wethersby is a typical 16 year-old New York girl — if your typical New Yorker had parents who were in a one-hit wonder band in the 90’s. And if your typical New Yorker found themselves traveling every night to a bizarre alternate reality, where everybody only says three words: “Peas and Carrots”.

Evan and Gadi talked about where the idea came from for Oppenheimer’s 8th feature film.  Evan talked about shooting in New York, his tremendous cast, the music and sound design behind the film.
