P!NK: ALL I KNOW SO FAR – Review By Gadi Elkon

Join award-winning performer and musician P!NK as she embarks on her record-breaking 2019 “Beautiful Trauma” world tour and welcomes audiences to join her chosen family while trying to balance being a mom, a wife, a boss and a performer.

Here is my review of the documentary.

P!NK:  ALL I KNOW SO FAR premieres today exclusively on Amazon Prime.  The documentary is a mixture of footage from Pink’s epic 2019 “Beautiful Trauma” world tour and the behind the scenes antics that make the tour possible.  Along for the tour are Pink’s husband Carey Hart, their two children and a massive crew of musicians, dancers, technical workers and her inner management team.  The documentary explores what it is to be a famous mother on tour and captures so many special moments with the singer.

Pink’s audience is also a major player in the film.  The way in which we see the impact Pink has had on her devoted fans is the hidden secret to the heart of the documentary.  The fans are the perfect companion to the close knit team that has allowed Pink to remain an impactful and relevant musical giant over the last few decades.  The emotional connection that she shares with her fans is such a powerful element to the film’s ability to stand out.  Love is such an important element to seeing Pink’s blissful relationship with her family and her fans.

Director Michael Gracey has captured such a riveting look at an artist at her musical peak and allows her maternal nature to shine even brighter.  Her two children, Willow and Jameson, are a real treat for the documentary and their constant presence is what adds a new wrinkle to the traditional tour documentary. We are allowed to see how devoted Pink and Carey are to Willow and Jameson.  A fully open and honest look into the family allows for Pink to even open up about her own journey through life.  A rather introspective documentary that becomes dazzling when looking at the incredible acrobatic musical tour elements.  The mixture of bold and loving is the epitome  of why Pink is such a beloved artist.  She is that mixture of bold trailblazer and loving soul that has entertained for decades.

A documentary that will entertain with the brilliance of the tour aspects and leave you emotional moved by the behind the scenes look at the family and fans of the artist.  All she knows so far is allowed to be shared with us so we know all so far about her.  Here’s to the next chapter in the Hart family story and hopefully more tours for the fans.
