The inaugural New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University wrapped up yesterday. New York Times-Bestselling author Emma Straub talked with our Gadi Elkon about her new book, the festival and much more.
Under the leadership and guidance of co-chairs Cheryl Landrieu, former New Orleans First Lady, and Walter Isaacson, the Leonard A. Lauder Professor of American History and Values in Tulane’s School of Liberal Arts and bestselling author, the festival held more than 60 panel sessions with a lineup of 130 authors. The festival was held on the beautiful campus of Tulane University from March 10th-12th. Bestselling author Emma Straub was apart of one of the festival’s earliest sessions on Friday morning. Read With Jenna compiled authors handpicked by Jenna Bush Hager and included Emma, Lee Cole, Rumaan Alam, and Qian Julie Wang.
Emma and Gadi talked about her upcoming book, This Time Tomorrow, her lovely relationship with her father, award-winning author and poet Peter Straub, and even about her favorite sandwiches.
