The prequel to 2022’s The Terminal List, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf tells us how Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch) went from serving in the Navy as a SEAL to a life as a CIA operative.
Like the first series, which also appears on Amazon Prime, this series is a stark look at the Navy SEALs’ work in the Middle East and then the work of the CIA doing the dirty work of eliminating the enemies of our country.
The first three episodes will be available on Amazon Prime on August 27th, with the remaining four episodes being released weekly from September 3rd through September 24th.
Critics were shown the first two episodes to allow us to give you our thoughts and opinions. The first episode tells the story of Ben’s removal from the SEALs. The second episode tells of his recruitment by a division of the CIA.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is not Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. It is war in the Middle East with muddled politics and strained ROEs, and then the action moves to other parts of the world (still presenting us with muddled politics and strained ROEs). Don’t misunderstand, working for the CIA will not significantly differ from working as a SEAL. The work is dirty and dangerous. That makes this an exciting show to watch. This show is unlike the FBI-related shows on one of the other networks. These guys get it done, down and dirty.
I liked it. I am looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes.
