LATINAfest® Mind, Body & Soul, the cultural phenomenon dedicated to celebrating and empowering Latinas, returns to Downtown Los Angeles on June 1, 2025, with an expanded lineup of programming that blends tradition, entrepreneurship, wellness, and identity. Now in its seventh year, the festival continues to grow into a national movement that uplifts Latina voices through meaningful dialogue, cultural expression, and collective action.
This year’s programming is anchored in Latina “Legacy” and begins with two power voices; 2025 Keynote speaker Claudia Romo Edelman, founder of the We Are All Human Foundation and who has dedicated her life to reshaping the Latino narrative, breaking barriers, and building bridges, and LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis, welcome the over three thousand expected attendees.
Festival Highlights
La Catrina Fashion Show Presented by designer and makeup artist Paulina, this fashion show celebrates the Legacy of “La Catrina”, which has become the “face” of the Dia de los Muertos holiday, but her story originates as the queen of the Aztec underworld.

The Magic Continues
This year LATINAFest’s Magia Zone (Magic Zone) is where we put wellness front and center, bringing you sessions ranging from massages, limpias and fortune telling. Cultural Workshops are also part of the magic, which includes: Candlemaking with Cultura, led by a mother and daughter duo known as Par de Brujas; Design your own “lotería” Vision Card; Cartas de Poder, led by artist Viridiana Osio of Chingona Inc; a reiki and sound bath session guided by LCSW Cynthia Alonzo of Rooted in Reflection; and an ancient Aztec cacao ceremony presented by Soulful Experiences.
LATINAFest attendees can get a headstart on the fun by joining the 3rd Annual LATINAFest Fun RUN on May 31st, sponsored by Common Spirit Healthcare. It’s a “run, walk and talk” event open to all communities. Attendees are invited to wear their “legacy” pride while enjoying themselves as they run (or walk) through the streets of downtown L.A. Registration is free.
DJ Royelle will keep the festival beat going all day. LATINAFest closes out its fun-filled day with live entertainment with Las Chorizeras, whose mix of Mariachi sounds, boleros and cumbias will be a perfect send off.
Sponsors play a vital role in bringing LATINAFest to life each year.
