WHAT REMAINS – Interview with Director Ran Huang

This Friday VMI RELEASING is unleashing WHAT REMAINS in theaters across the US.  Our Gadi Elkon talked with the film’s Director/Co-Writer Ran Huang about his feature film debut.

During the 1990s, at a Scandinavian psychiatric hospital, a man known as Mads Lake confessed to multiple murders and was convicted. However, the uneasy triumvirate of Mads, therapist Anna Rudebeck and policeman Soren Rank, all have a vested interest in unearthing the truth, and a deepening co-dependency threatens to consume them all.

Ran and Gadi dived into the years he’s spent getting to know the Skarsgard family and how he first heard of the film’s real life inspiration.  Ran also was able to talk about working in Finland, getting time to rehearse with his talented cast and how this is just the start of his work with the Skarsgards!

Here is our Interview with Writer/Director Ran Huang:

The film is in theaters this Friday June 21st.
