Two AFFD alumni, Mye Hoang (also former AFFD Executive Director) and award-winning filmmaker Dave Boyle (Surrogate Valentine and Daylight Savings, SXSW '11 and '12), who have collectively raised over $100k for various projects through crowdfunding, will use their current feature film project MAN FROM RENO (in post-production) as a case study for using Kickstarter, offering ideas and advice to help your campaign succeed. Additionally, using never-before-seen clips from MAN FROM RENO, they will cover post-production and why you need to plan for it well before you begin shooting.
