The opening weekend of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella at DSM began with a special fireworks show on Friday night. Around 9pm The Reunion Tower, Omni Hotel, Hunt Oil Building, and The Bank of America Building in downtown Dallas all shown #DSMBlue to honor the impact Dallas Summer Musicals has had on the area. Following that evening's performance the fireworks lit up the night and highlighted the 75th celebration.

There is still a solid week and closing weekend of Cinderella at DSM before it ventures over to Bass Hall. Next week all this wet and flooding weather leads to the wildness of Dirty Dancing at Music Hall.
