MISSING FROM FIRE TRAIL ROAD – Interview with Filmmaker Sabrina Van Tassel​

Filmmaker Sabrina Van Tassel’s latest feature documentary, MISSING FROM FIRE TRAIL ROAD, had its world premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Festival this past Saturday.  Sabrina talked with our Gadi Elkon about Tribeca, the women she’s met through this film and so much more!

The case of Mary Ellen Johnson-Davis, a Native-American woman who disappeared in 2020, exposing how hundreds of indigenous women continue to go missing in the US, perpetuating trans-generational trauma on Indian reservations.

Sabrina and Gadi talked about the strong women continuing the fight for the voiee-less lost and why she makes documentaries.
