So B. It – Interview with Author Sarah Weeks

Award winning Author Sarah Weeks chatted with me about her books, the transition of So B. It into a film and so much more!!

Author Sarah Weeks books have sold over three million copies and have been translated to numerous foreign languages.  She is labeled as a Early Reader or Children book Author but it's obvious that her books impact all ages.  So B. It was released back in 2004 putting Sarah very much in the young reader lexicon and it became a New York Times and Los Angeles times best seller.  The book was awarded the 2004 Parents Choice Gold medal in addition to numerous state book awards including the Rebecca Caudill Award and the William Allen White Award.  This friday the film version of the book will be released by GOOD DEED ENTERTAINMENT.  The film is directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal, with the script written by Garry Williams, and staring Academy Award nominee Alfre Woodard, Academy Award winner Cloris Leachman and introduces talented Talitha Bateman as our HEIDI.  The team behind the film has spent the last few years bringing the book to life.

Sarah was awesome enough to call me from her home in New York and give me a fantastic 20 minutes of insight in her world.  Enjoy my chat with Author Sarah Weeks.

If you haven't read So B. IT, what are you waiting on?  Did you not hear Sarah reveal she's has the followup book! And also enjoy the film!!
