Animator and Filmmaker Ryuya Suzuki and Actress Miho Ohashi joined our Gadi Elkon for a chat about the animated feature film, JINSEI.
A man’s journey through life, marked by various names and labels, leads him to unexpected success while confronting modern social issues and personal struggles.
Utilizing a translator (David Neptune) Gadi, Ryuya, and Miho discussed the journey of the filmmaking of JINSEI. Ryuya was able to dive into the years of work put into making his animated feature film debut. Miho expanded on the incredible experience of working with Ryuya. She also discussed voice acting for animation. Ryuya further discussed how he hopes this work will impact International audiences as it has back home in Japan.

The film opened this past weekend in NYC’s IFC Center and will be nationwide this Friday the 12th.
