This Friday Well Go USA is releasing RIDE in theaters and on digital platforms. Our Gadi Elkon talked with RIDE’s Director, Actor and Co-Writer Jake Allyn.
Three generations of bull riders fight to raise money to transfer the family’s young daughter to a better cancer hospital. Set in Stephenville TX, Ride explores rodeo, addiction in the Heartland, and the cowboy’s place in modern America.
Jake and Gadi talked about the Texas setting of the film, the merging of a rodeo story with overcoming addiction, and a ton about hats! Jake was able to chat about making his directorial debut, the generational legacies showcased and about his quality cast.
